Euroleague Final Four 2025 to be held in May

The following teams will participate: Barcelona, ​​Olympiacos, Anadolu Efes, Zalgiris, Baskonia, Panathinaikos, Fenerbahce, Bayern, Real Madrid, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Olympia, Milan, ASVEL, Monaco, Crvena Zvezda, Virtus (Bologna), Alba, Paris, Partizan.

The winner of the 2024 Euroleague Final Four was the Greek Panathinaikos. The Athenians confidently beat Real Madrid with a score of 95:80. The final was held in Berlin at the huge German stadium Uber Arena. Berlin became the first city to host the Euroleague Final Four three times.

Panathinaikos is the best Euroleague club of the last two decades. In the 2012–2013 season, more than 25,000 spectators attended Panathinaikos games. The games involving the Athenians are sold out because they are truly spectacular and intense. Their coat of arms is a trefoil, which in Greek mythology symbolizes the balance between the spirit and the body. Interestingly, this is an implacable opponent of our domestic BC CSKA. Over the long period of confrontation, the relations between the clubs cannot be called friendly: the rivals for the title have met too often in important matches. The clubs became completely at odds when our “army men” lured Ramunas Siskauskas, who scored the winning goal against CSKA in the 2006/07 Euroleague final, away from the Greeks. 

This year, Panathinaikos will try its luck in the semifinals again, and CSKA, for obvious reasons, like other Russian basketball clubs, will not be able to take part in the Euroleague.
